The statutory yearExample

Your year end sets the year.

Move it. ECI, the AGM and the annual return move with it. Form C-S stays on 30 November.

Drag to turn the dial. Drag the bead to move your year end.

Dates from the same deadline rules as COAT and Coat Solo.

FY2026 example, from year end to tax return

  1. IRAS3 months after your year end, by the month's last day

Tell IRAS your estimated profit (ECI) · FY2026

Why: Tell IRAS your estimated profit (ECI) · FY2026

ECI (Estimated Chargeable Income) is your early estimate of taxable profit. It lets IRAS bill you in instalments. If your revenue is S$5m or less and your ECI is nil, you do not need to file.

Income Tax Act 1947, s 63. If it’s missed: IRAS can raise an estimated assessment. You then have one month to pay it. IRAS · ECI filing(opens in a new tab)

  2. ACRA6 months after your year end

Get shareholders to approve the accounts (AGM) · FY2026

Why: Get shareholders to approve the accounts (AGM) · FY2026

The AGM is when shareholders formally receive the FS. Private companies can dispense with it by a resolution of all members, or are exempt if FS are sent to all members within 5 months of the financial year end.

Companies Act 1967, ss 175, 175A. If it’s missed: Directors can be fined, and ACRA may take enforcement action against the company and its directors. ACRA · AGM due dates(opens in a new tab)

  3. ACRA7 months after your year end

Confirm company details with ACRA (annual return) · FY2026

Why: Confirm company details with ACRA (annual return) · FY2026

The annual return confirms your officers, shareholders, share capital and AGM details with ACRA. You file it on BizFile after the AGM (or after dispensing with it).

Companies Act 1967, s 197. If it’s missed: Late lodgement penalty of up to S$600, plus possible enforcement against directors. ACRA · Annual return deadlines(opens in a new tab)

  4. IRAS30 Nov of the year of assessment

File the company tax return (Form C-S) · YA 2027

Why: File the company tax return (Form C-S) · YA 2027

This is your company's income tax return for the year ended 31 Dec 2026. Companies with revenue of S$5m or less can usually use the simplified Form C-S. At S$200k or less, they can use Form C-S (Lite).

Income Tax Act 1947, s 62. If it’s missed: Composition fine, and IRAS may raise an estimated assessment. IRAS · Filing Form C-S / C-S (Lite) / C(opens in a new tab)

  • ECI is due by the end of the third month after your year end, as IRAS counts it. The AGM and the annual return are counted in calendar months, keeping the day of your year end, so a 30 June year end has its AGM by 30 December. Where that month is shorter, it is the month's last day. A February year end is 28 February, or 29 in a leap year.
